This role engages with Accounting, Operations, FP&A, and other functional teams on project-based analyses, cost and performance evaluation, and process improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport corporate finance projects such as cost analyses, business case evaluations, operational performance reviews, and financial modeling for cross-functional initiatives.\nPerform variance analysis, identify key drivers, assess impacts, and prepare insights for leadership.\nBuild and maintain financial models, tracking tools, and analysis frameworks that support corporate initiatives, recurring planning needs, and efficiency improvements such as process automation and workflow simplification.\nContributing to annual and long-range planning cycles through data preparation, assumption validation, trend assessment, and development of planning inputs.\nEnsure adherence to internal controls and support Accounting with items requiring understanding of cost accounting concepts, and GAAP-compliant practices while supporting financial close activities.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.\n2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to break down complex topics and synthesize findings.\nProficiency in Excel and comfort with financial systems (SAP experience is beneficial).\nEffective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.\nStrong prioritization skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.\nCurious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a complex, project-driven corporate finance environment.\nAllison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
