Learn more about this role and how you can begin driving your career forward!\nThe Intern in this role will gain exposure and experience within the Internal Auditing Department during Summer 2027.\nResponsibilities: \nPerform testing of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls on behalf of management.\nAnalyze and verify the accuracy of transactions and/or other management documents, records, reports, and methods.\nEvaluate accuracy and compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, or regulations. \nMay be asked to assist with international audit testing and related workpaper documentation.\nConduct other special reviews and projects as directed.\nConduct and document audit and review assignments in accordance with the IIA’s Global Internal Audit Standards.\nPrepare high quality workpapers which document the tests performed, results, conclusions, and recommendations to management.\nEstablish relationships with key business partners.\nQualifications:\nOn track to complete or currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audit, Accounting, Finance, or related business field.\nPrior internal audit experience not required.\nDesire to gain experience and knowledge of the purpose and importance of internal controls.\nDesire to gain experience and knowledge of audit work related to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.\nExcellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.\nAbility to prioritize, multi-task, and handle deadlines.\nExcellent oral and written English communication skills.\nExperience with Microsoft Office products required.\nPrimary Location:\nIndianapolis, INAdditional Locations:\nAllison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
