Responsible for the design and/or testing of tooling and equipment and/or planning the manufacturing processes in a designated area of the manufacturing plant.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssistin the development of manufacturing systems with the focus on continuous improvement related to quality and throughput capability of production equipment.\n\nApply knowledge of product design fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.\n\nAssure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and process capabilities;establishingstandards; confirming manufacturing processes.\n\nDirect the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes.\n\nAssure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and process capabilities;establishingstandards; confirming manufacturing processes.\n\nOccasional instruction, training, and assignment of work to a small group of employees.\n\nCoordinates activities to support manufacturing launch of new or revised programs.\n\nAnalyze process elements for improved manufacturing capability.\n\nAnalyze equipment deficiencies for manufacturing improvements.\n\nProvide technical support for specific plant operations.\n\nPhysical presence in the workplace is an essential function\n\nImplements and actively supports the plant and corporate safety policies and initiatives\n\nImplement safety and good housekeeping standards\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nKey Performance Measures:\nSafety\n\nProductivity\n\nQuality\n\nResponsiveness\n\nCost\n\nCompetenciesandBehaviors:\nRequired:\nAdhering to the highest standards in what we do.
