This role independently delivers routine to moderately complex analysis, dashboards, and reporting, working closely with stakeholders to understand their questions and translate them into clear, actionable outputs. The Data Analyst collaborates with senior analysts, data scientists, and data engineers on larger initiatives, and is expected to build growing fluency in the Google suite of tools (BigQuery, Looker) to deliver trusted, scalable data products. This is a key contributor role for driving data literacy and self-service analytics across ALLO.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nBusiness Problem Framing & Solution Definition:\nPartner with business stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, Finance) to understand their reporting needs and questions for assigned projects.\nTranslate business questions into clear, structured analysis, seeking guidance from senior team members on more ambiguous or cross-functional problems.\nScope routine to moderately complex analytical requests, identifying the right approach and data sources.\nData Analysis & Insight Generation:\nConduct data analysis using SQL and BigQuery to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to assigned business units.\nBuild and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting in Looker that stakeholders can act on.\nApply foundational analytical techniques (e.g., segmentation, trend analysis) to answer business questions, escalating more advanced methods to senior analysts or data scientists as needed\nStakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:\nBuild working relationships with business stakeholders within assigned units.\nCommunicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nSupport workshops and discussions to gather requirements and validate analytical outputs.\nTooling & Best Practices:\nBuild fluency with ALLO's analytics and AI tools (BigQuery, Looker, AI-assisted analysis tools).\nFollow established data governance, quality, and metric-certification standards.\nContribute to the improvement of team documentation, processes, and reusable analytical assets.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.\n2+ years of experience in an analytical role, such as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar data-focused position.\nSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:\nWorking proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.\nExperience building dashboards and reports in Looker or a similar BI tool.\nFamiliarity with a scripting language for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).\nAbility to translate business questions into structured analysis with moderate guidance.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.\nSolid organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple recurring deliverables and deadlines.\nSelf-starter who is eager to learn and grow technical and business skill sets.\nDesire to be a team-player whether partnering with other data analysts or working with internal stakeholders.\nAbility to tell a story by using in-depth data analysis tools and techniques\nPreferred qualifications:\nFamiliarity with GCP cloud data platforms and data warehousing concepts.\nExposure to AI-assisted analytics tools.\nTelecom or subscription-based business experience.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nRemain stationary for extended periods\nAbility to communicate information\nAbility to operate a computer\nPeople are our passion.
