This includes developing and optimizing cloud solutions that support operations, billing, customer management, and network management functions. Your expertise in GCP, networking, and cloud security will be critical to ensuring the high availability and performance of our OSS/BSS platform.RESPONSIBILITIES:\nGCP Architecture & OSS/BSS Platform Management\nDesign and deploy GCP infrastructure to support the specific needs of OSS/BSS systems.\nOptimize cloud resources for scalability and performance to handle high transaction volumes and data processing.\nWork closely with the OSS/BSS teams to ensure seamless integration of tools, applications, and services within the platform.\nInfrastructure Automation & Integration\nDevelop automation scripts and pipelines for streamlined management and scaling of OSS/BSS infrastructure.\nCreate and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying and updating OSS/BSS components on GCP.\nEnable efficient data flows between OSS/BSS applications and core networking systems.\nNetwork Configuration & Performance Tuning\nConfigure and maintain cloud network topologies (such as VPCs and VPNs) for secure, reliable connectivity across OSS/BSS services.\nCollaborate with network engineers to ensure that cloud and on-premise systems communicate effectively.\nMonitor and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues within the OSS/BSS platform.\nCloud Security & Compliance for OSS/BSS\nImplement GCP security best practices to protect sensitive customer, billing, and operational data.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory and industry standards for data handling and security specific to OSS/BSS operations.\nConduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and OSS/BSS platform remediation.\nMonitoring & Incident Response\nSet up monitoring solutions to monitor OSS/BSS infrastructure and detect issues proactively.\nManage incident response processes for OSS/BSS services, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity.\nDevelop disaster recovery and backup solutions tailored to OSS/BSS applications and databases.\nDocumentation & Training\nDocument GCP architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures for OSS/BSS support.\nProvide training and knowledge sharing with internal teams to ensure understanding and continuity in cloud operations.\nStay current with GCP advancements and implement relevant OSS/BSS platform improvements.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nGoogle Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification is preferred.\nExperience\n3+ years of experience working with GCP, particularly in roles supporting telecommunications environments.\nSkills, Knowledge, & Abilities\nProficiency in GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), VPC, Cloud Functions, and IAM.\nStrong understanding of OSS/BSS workflows, data processing, and transaction management.\nProven experience with Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for managing cloud resources.\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as LogicMonitor or similar platforms.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills focused on cloud infrastructure optimization.\nStrong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on reliability and performance.\nPhysical & Operational Requirements\nAbility to lift and raise objects up to 25 lbs.\nAbility to remain stationary for extended periods.\nStrong ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.\nAbility to operate a computer and standard office equipment.\nPeople are our passion.
