We are looking for an innovative and driven Test Engineer to join our growing team and help us build the future of thermal management.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Thermal Test Engineer, you will be a critical part of our product development and manufacturing process. You will be responsible for leading our thermal test lab, ensuring the performance and reliability of our cutting-edge cold plates and other thermal management components. This is a hands-on role for a creative and meticulous engineer who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible. You will not only be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the lab but will also be a key contributor to the innovation of our testing methodologies.\nResponsibilities:\nTake ownership of the thermal test lab, from organization and safety to hardware procurement and management.\n\nDesign, build, and configure novel test setups to accurately evaluate the performance of our thermal components under a variety of conditions.\n\nConduct thermal and fluidic testing on components such as cold plates and other high-performance thermal solutions.\n\nAnalyze and interpret test data, providing actionable insights to our design and manufacturing teams to drive product improvements.\n\nResearch and propose new testing methodologies and equipment to enhance our testing capabilities and efficiency.\n\nPresent your findings and project proposals to leadership to secure resources for your innovative ideas.\n\nCollaborate with our engineering team on the design of customer parts, with the potential to grow into an Applications Engineer role.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nA strong understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.\n\nDemonstrated experience in designing and building test fixtures and setups.\n\nProficiency with data acquisition systems (DAQ) and sensor technology (thermocouples, pressure transducers, flow meters, etc.).\n\nExperience with Python, or another programming language, with a preference for work done on automation and controls\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.\n\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with thermal simulation software (e.g., SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation, Ansys Icepak, Flotherm).\n\nFamiliarity with Keysight data acquisition software.\n\nExperience in a fast-paced startup environment.\n\n*Pay Range: $75,000-90,000 dependent on experience, qualifications, and education level\nAdditional requirements\nThis position will require access to information subject to control under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).
