Our Departments related to project management handle a wide range of projects: from major investment projects and vessel upgrades to operational and commercial offshore activities.\n\nWe are looking for Assistant Project Managers to take ownership of critical work packages. Based on your experience and interests, we will determine which team is the best fit for you.\n\n Delft\n\nYour role\n\nAs an Assistant Project Manager, you play a key role in the preparation and execution of complex offshore projects. You ensure your work are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the highest quality and HSE standards. Depending on the department and type of project, your focus may vary: from managing operational and client-facing activities in commercial projects or driving technical innovation and vessel upgrades in non-commercial projects. Your responsibilities may include:\n\nFor non-commercial projects:\n\n Department Capital Projects as part of Innovations Division\n\n Engineering & Documentation: Coordinate technical documentation, drawings, and specifications; ensure quality and compliance.\n\n Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed schedules from concept design until commissioning and testing and ensure proper progress reporting onsite.\n\n Supplier Management: Work closely with internal teams and subcontractors for technical delivery and material supply.\n\n Budget & Reporting: Monitor costs and man-hours; prepare accurate forecasts and reports.\n\n HSE & Quality: Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements throughout all project phases.\n\n Team Coordination: Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure smooth collaboration between engineering, asset management, operations, and HSE.\n\n Process Optimization: Implement improvements in project processes and contribute to strategic innovations.\n\nTypical projects: vessel conversions and modifications, crane upgrades, inhouse developments such as the topsides lift system, construction of new-build vessels, etc.\n\nFor commercial projects:\n\n Department Project Management as part of Projects Division\n\n Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed schedules for offshore installations and operational activities.\n\n Stakeholder Management: Maintain close contact with clients, suppliers, and authorities to safeguard commercial agreements and permits.\n\n Contract Management: Handle contract changes, concessions, and commercial aspects; negotiate variations and claims.\n\n Budget & Reporting: Prepare cost estimates, progress reports, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.\n\n Team Coordination: Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure smooth collaboration between engineering, operations, and HSE.\n\n Risk Management: Identify commercial and operational risks and develop mitigation plans.\n\nTypical projects: Include the installation and decommissioning of platforms in the wind and oil and gas sectors, as well as the installation of pipelines.\n\nWhat we expect from you\n\nYou are organized, communicative, and have a hands-on mentality.
