This role is responsible for the use and development of the data that powers analytics projects for internal and external audiences. This person partners with others on work with data analysts and analytic engineers on tactical solutions. This role will participate in new ETL work tracks for Business Intelligence from inception and prototyping to fully developed solutions. This is a highly dynamic position that requires a greater degree of flexibility, analytic agility, and the ability to rapidly adapt to changing business requirements/needs, new technologies, and data sources. This role also requires business acumen in order to output the best technical solutions.\nJob Description\nUtilize a multidisciplinary approach to Data Analytic problems combining technical expertise with analytics and business knowledge \nWork with other Data Analytic Engineers, Data Analysts, and business partners on embedded cross-functional teams; developing subject matter expertise in the business as well as data analytics \nExecute requirements to develop datasets for use by Data Analysts and business users \nExecute rapid development of new data work tracks with fast iteration over quick sprints \nLeverage and enhance the data infrastructure required to support Analytic needs, including AirFlow, GCP Composer and BigQuery. \nBuild test scripts, execute testing, work with data engineers, analysts and business partners to ensure end user acceptance \nContribute to an environment that supports innovation and process improvement \nContribute to the development of corporate research data files, information platforms or data spaces designed for exploring and understanding the data \nDemonstrate analytic agility to meet fluid and dynamic business needs in this space \nJob Qualifications\n Target start date: May/June 2027 \nCurrently pursuing and will be completing a bachelor’s degree in a field such as Computer Science, Data Analytics or equivalent skills \nBasic familiarity with Python and/or Google Cloud Platform/Amazon Web Services and SQL \nFamiliarity with the software development lifecycle and source control (Github) \nBasic familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker \nComputer Proficiency in Linux and bash \nExperience in time and task management \nAbility to learn new technologies \nStrong attention to detail \nIntermediate written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels \nPreferred:\nDevelopment knowledge and experience in Spark or other distributed processing frameworks \nFamiliarity with statistical concepts and related technology (scikit-learn, pandas, tensorflow) or geospatial analysis a plus \nAt Arity, great things happen when our people work together.\nThat’s why when you join our team, we make sure it isn’t just a job - it’s an opportunity.
