Job Description
The Event Specialist provides hands-on coordination and execution support for internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and internal and external events across Allstate Canada’s brands. This roleoperatesindependently within defined processes, applying judgment, organization, and collaboration skills to deliver consistent,onbrand, andwell executedoutcomes.
Accountabilities:
Support the execution of internal and external communications initiatives across Allstate, Pembridge, andPafco
Create, edit, andfinalizea variety of communication materials (e.g., presentations, reports, event communications, and web content)
Ensure all communications meet established standards for branding, tone, accessibility, and translation
Coordinate and executelogisticsfor a variety of events, including meetings, conferences, roadshows, and employee programs
Research and manage event vendors, venues, and contracts, ensuring seamless delivery and positive participant experiences
Oversee event registration, attendee communications, and post-event follow-up activities
Track budgets and expenses, manage invoices, and support financial processes related to events and communications
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality,timelyoutcomes
Identifyopportunities for improvement by analyzing feedback, researching best practices, and contributing to process enhancements
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in Communications, Events, or Program Coordination
Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills
Experience managing vendors and coordinatinglogisticsfor events or initiatives
High attention to detail and strongfollow-through
Comfortable operating in afast paced,multi-stakeholderenvironment
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with strong planning and time management skills
Experience creating or editing communication materials (e.g., presentations, emails, or event content) for different audiences
Confidence using tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint)

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 63,000.00 - 98,475.00 annually.
