In this role, you will partner closely with product managers, software engineers, and data analysts to deliver scalable, reliable data capabilities that power digital products and business insights. You will be accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of your data products, from design and implementation through production support, data quality, and performance against key metrics.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, Build & Manage Data Solutions\nDesign, develop, and enhance scalable data pipelines and data processing systems. \nBuild reusable ingestion, transformation, and storage patterns to support product and analytical needs. \nIntegrate data from diverse sources including APIs, databases, event streams, and third-party systems. \nImplement data models and schemas that create unified, consistent views of business operations. \nEngineering Excellence\nApply modern engineering practices, including version control, testing, CI/CD, and automated deployments. \nEnsure data quality, integrity, and reliability through validation, monitoring, and observability tools. \nOptimize data workflows for performance, cost efficiency, and operational resilience. \nDocument data flows, lineage, and technical components in support of transparency and maintainability. \nProduct Collaboration & Delivery\nCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and analysts to understand data requirements. \nParticipate in iteration planning, ensuring shared understanding of backlog items and technical needs. \nEngage in daily standups, retrospectives, and product ceremonies as an active member of the team. \nGovernance, Standards & Continuous Improvement\nContribute to data governance practices such as metadata management and data lineage. \nEnsure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements. \nEvaluate new technologies, frameworks, and patterns to improve data infrastructure and engineering capabilities. \nShare knowledge and mentor less experienced engineers, contributing to team growth and best practices. \nCore Skills\nStrong proficiency in developing scalable data pipelines using PySpark and Python.\nHands-on experience with modern data engineering frameworks and tools, including Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, dbt, or equivalent technologies.\nStrong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, data modeling, and data architecture principles.\nDemonstrated ability to optimize SQL queries, data pipelines, and storage for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.\nExperience designing and developing batch and/or real-time streaming data solutions.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Notebooks for developing, debugging, testing, and operationalizing data engineering workflows.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience implementing monitoring and observability solutions, with Datadog experience preferred.\nAbility to work effectively in collaborative, iterative, and product-centric engineering environments.\nStrong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with cloud data services (Azure, AWS). \nHands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Semantic Models. \nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.). \nPerformance tuning for data pipelines, databases, and queries. \nFamiliarity with generative and agentic AI tools to improve engineering productivity. \nSkills\nData Engineering, Microsoft Azure, Python (Programming Language), Structured Query Language (SQL)Compensation\nCompensation offered for this role is 80,000.00 - 136,625.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.\nJoining our team isn’t just a job - it’s an opportunity.
