In this role, you will actively participate in the modernization of mission-critical legacy .NET applications by upgrading them to .NET 8, containerizing workloads, and leveraging modern frameworks like Blazor and Angular. This is not just a migration role, it is an opportunity to shape the future architecture of our enterprise applications, build modernization frameworks, and influence how our engineering teams adopt cloud-native and cross-platform strategies going forward.Key Responsibilities\nActively participating in the upgrade of legacy .NET Framework applications (Windows Services, Console Apps, Web Forms) to .NET 8.\nModernize user interfaces using Blazor and Angular, moving away from older Web Forms.\nRefactor and optimize existing codebases for maintainability and scalability.\nCollaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies (Azure/AWS/GCP).\nEnsure seamless database integration with ADO.NET and micro-ORMs like Dapper.\nAct as a technical mentor to junior developers during modernization projects.\nDrive architectural discussions on microservices, API-first design, and modern security practices.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n6+ years of professional .NET development experience.\nStrong expertise in .NET Framework (4.x) and .NET 8.\nHands-on experience with Windows Services, Console Apps, and Web Forms.\nProven experience with Blazor (Server/Web Assembly) and Angular (2+).\nProficiency in ADO.NET and micro-ORMs like Dapper.\nStrong background in application containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).\nExperience with SQL Server (or equivalent relational databases).\nFamiliarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.\nThis position does not include supervisory responsibilities.\nSkills\nSoftware DevelopmentJoining our team isn’t just a job - it’s an opportunity.
