In addition to managing and developing engineers, this role is expected to contribute code, participate in technical design decisions, perform code reviews, and help resolve complex technical challenges.\nThe internal job title for this role is Software Engineer Associate Manager.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.\n\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and related technologies.\n\nContribute production-ready code and actively participate in feature development and system enhancements.\n\nReview code and provide technical guidance to engineering team members.\n\nParticipate in iteration planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.\n\nPartner with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\n\nLead technical design discussions and architectural decision-making.\n\nEnsure the delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.\n\nEstablish and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.\n\nSupport production applications, troubleshoot issues, and lead root cause analysis activities.\n\nCollaborate with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Data teams to align solutions with enterprise standards.\n\nPromote engineering best practices, test automation, code quality, and continuous improvement.\n\nMonitor delivery commitments, operational metrics, and team performance.\n\nFoster knowledge sharing, talent development, and technical growth across the team.\n\nEssential Qualifications\n5 years or more of experience developing enterprise applications using ASP.NET and C#. (Or equivalent)\n\n1 year or more of experience leading or managing software engineers. (Or equivalent)\n\nExperience actively designing, developing, and supporting production software applications.\n\nExperience building and consuming RESTful APIs.\n\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server and complex T-SQL development.\n\nExperience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.\n\nStrong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.\n\nExperience with Git, automated testing, and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.\n\nStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.\n\nExperience working within Agile development environments.\n\nExcellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.\n\nDesirable Qualifications\nExperience supporting Sales, Healthcare, Insurance, or Financial Services applications.\n\nExperience with Oracle databases and enterprise data repository integrations.\n\nExperience leading cloud-based application initiatives.\n\nKnowledge of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and modern software delivery practices.\n\nExperience driving application modernization and engineering transformation initiatives.\n\nDemonstrated success building and developing high-performing engineering teams.\n\nSuccess Profile\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on engineering leader who enjoys both leading people and building software.
