The Personnel Security Assistant will work with other Government Agencies, Contractors, and Federal Employees to support initial investigations and reinvestigations for the federal background investigation process.\nMust be a US Citizen\nClearance Required: Yes - Obtain a High Risk Public Trust (T4)\n*This is an onsite position.*\nResponsibilities:\nDetermine the appropriate level of initial investigation and reinvestigation depending on the position's designation level \nConduct preliminary record checks of the Office of Personnel Management's Central Verification System (CVS) to determine if a current reciprocal investigation meets position designation requirements\nInvite the individual into NBIS eApp (electronic application) and assist with eApp access issues\nDetermine if additional inquiries are necessary to resolve discrepant, negative or contradictory information\nFingerprint applicants and employees, conduct National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/National Law Enforcement. Telecommunications System (NLETS) inquiries; conduct credit checks\nQualifications:\nH.S.
