The firm has expanded more than 10x over the past 7 years, to over $250 million of revenue and over 600 associates.\nThe Financial Controller plays a crucial role at Allworth, overseeing the accounting, and financial reporting departments. Ensuring financial records, reports, and statements are accurate and compliant with laws and regulations.\nThis is a full-time, exempt hybrid position, reporting into our Addison, TX office.\nJob Responsibilities:\nLeadership: Provide technical and operational leadership across accounting functions. Manage the accounting team of 9 associates, including hiring, training, and supporting associates develop to keep pace with firm growth\nFinancial Reporting & Technical Accounting: Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting in addition to adherence to all applicable accounting pronouncements\nM&A Diligence and integration: Lead the process to ensure acquired businesses are reviewed and integrated optimally from an accounting perspective, ensuring that new and existing firm associates are supported throughout the transitions\nPayroll and Benefits: Assist the team responsible for managing payroll and benefits for the firm\nSystems and Controls: Implement and oversee financial systems, processes, and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity of financial data \nBroker Dealer: Ensure appropriate accounting for all broker dealer related business\nQualifications\n Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualification. \nExperience: 8+ years of managerial experience in accounting, preferably in a combination of both public company and private equity backed firm environments.
