The children we serve are at the heart of everything we do and we are passionate about our commitment to having a meaningful impact in the lives of our children and their families.\nHelp young kids with autism find their voice, and build a career doing it.\nAs a Behavior Technician at Ally Behavior Centers, you’ll use one-on-one play and ABA therapy to help young children with autism communicate, connect, and gain independence.\nYou’ll be the person a child looks for when they walk in the door.\nUnlike many ABA jobs, you won’t drive from house to house. Every session happens in our center, with a set schedule and BCBAs, SLPs and OTs on-site. Many ABA jobs pay hourly, and only for sessions that happen. You’re salaried, so your paycheck stays the same even when a client cancels.\nNo ABA experience needed. This is an entry-level clinical role. We’ll train you and pay for your RBT certification.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPlay 1-on-1 with kids with autism: games, blocks, bubbles, pretend play\nTurn playtime into progress using ABA therapy\nCollect and track data on an iPad to monitor each child’s progress, and share updates with your BCBA\nKeep client information confidential in line with HIPAA guidelines\nCheer on the big moments, like a first word, a new friend, or a high-five\nWhat you need (Essential Functions):\nExperience with kids (babysitting, coaching, childcare, siblings - it all counts) \nAbility to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.\nAbility to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, run, squat, or stand for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds\nReliable transportation and a valid driver’s license\nCoachability: your BCBA gives direct feedback, and you run with it\nConsistency: you follow each child’s plan every session\n18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent\nMust pass federal and state background checks\nRBT certification, or willingness to complete training within 90 days of hire\nBLS certification, or willingness to complete training before you’re hired\nThe honest part:\nSome days are hard. Kids may hit, kick, or struggle while they’re learning new ways to communicate.
