Alma’s headquarters are in Caesarea, Israel, with business operations in more than 100 countries worldwide.\nWe are looking for a Physics R&D Student to join our Physics team within the R&D organization and take part in the development of advanced medical technologies involving lasers, optics, sensing, imaging and intelligent treatment systems.\nThe role combines hands-on laboratory work, experimental design, system characterization, data analysis and technical support for ongoing and future R&D projects.\nThe student will work closely with physicists, engineers and other R&D functions and will gain exposure to different stages of the development of advanced energy-based medical devices.\nKey Responsibilities:\nParticipate in innovative R&D projects combining Energy-Based Devices (EBD), artificial intelligence and advanced medical technologies.\nPlan, execute and document laboratory experiments.\nPerform characterization and performance evaluation of optical and electro-optical systems.\nWork with laser systems, optical components, light sources, detectors, cameras and measurement equipment.\nCollect, process and analyze experimental data.\nSupport development activities related to laser and optical systems.\nPerform comparative testing of applicators, optical components and system configurations.\nBuild and operate experimental setups and Proof-of-Concept systems.\nSupport troubleshooting, verification activities and system performance investigations.\nPrepare technical reports, experimental summaries and presentations.\nCollaborate with Physics, Engineering, V&V and other R&D teams.\nRequirements\nB.Sc. student in Physics, Optical Engineering, Electro-Optics or a related field, preferably in the third year of studies or above;
