You will carry out routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates and products to defined specifications and methods, while working to Good Manufacturing Practice standards.\nCarry out Quality Control analysis of raw materials, intermediates and products.\nMaintain accurate analytical records and support laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration systems.\nReview completed Quality Control documentation and report out-of-specification results.\nSupport investigations and troubleshoot analytical methods with experienced colleagues.\nContribute to packaging documentation review, new-starter training and internal Good Manufacturing Practice inspections.\nJoining Almac means becoming part of a fast-paced, growing organisation within a highly regulated industry. Find out more: Life at Almac\nWhat you need to be successful\nThis placement is suited to a life sciences student who enjoys practical laboratory work and can perform accurately in a challenging, time-focused environment.\nCurrently studying for a Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, in a life science discipline that contains a Chemistry component.\nAble to complete a 12-month full-time placement before returning to university to finish the programme.\nAbility to work effectively in a challenging, time-focused environment.\nLaboratory analysis experience in either an academic or commercial setting, knowledge of HPLC and confidence using Microsoft Office would be advantageous.\nFurther information\nFor further information on the job specific responsibilities, essential and desirable criteria, please review the job description attached to the online job posting.\nThis role may require regular coverage beyond normal working hours.
