MENA\nJob Overview:\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our technology team and help ensure that our products are reliable, scalable, and deliver a seamless experience to our users.\nYou will work closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Designers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle to identify issues early, improve product quality, and ensure that releases meet the expected standards.\nAs a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, You will:\nDesign, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.\nIdentify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.\nCollaborate with developers and product teams to investigate and reproduce reported issues.\nParticipate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and product discussions to ensure testability and quality from the early stages.\nValidate new features and ensure they meet business and technical requirements before release.\nPerform API testing and validate integrations between different systems and services.\nConduct cross-platform and cross-browser testing where applicable.\nMaintain clear and accurate QA documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.\nSupport release and deployment activities by performing pre-release and post-release validation.\nContribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and overall product quality.\nWork closely with the engineering team to identify opportunities for test automation and continuous improvement.\nMonitor production issues and support root-cause analysis when required.\nThe ideal candidate will have:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\n2-4 years of experience in Software Quality Control or a similar role.\nStrong understanding of software testing methodologies and QC processes.\nHands-on experience with manual testing and test case design.\nExperience working with API testing tools such as Postman.\nFamiliarity with SQL and database validation.\nExperience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.\nGood understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nNice to Have\nExperience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.\nFamiliarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.\nExperience testing web and mobile applications.\nKnowledge of performance, security, or accessibility testing.\nExperience working in a product-based or EdTech
