Our diverse platforms and services are built to deliver enriching experiences that reflect the spirit of Saudi Arabia and the wider region.\nWe’re united by a bold vision:\nTo be the undisputed leader in travel services, fostering lasting connections and setting new benchmarks for excellence in the Kingdom and beyond.\nOur team across Saudi Arabia and the wider region blends deep cultural understanding with forward-thinking innovation, shaping a new standard for travel in the region.\nAbout the Role:\nWe are looking for a Specialist QA Backend Engineer to join our team.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain automated test scenarios for backend/API testing.\nParticipate in sprint planning and review requirements to ensure test coverage.\nCreating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.\nConvert manual regression scenarios to automated test cases.\nEstimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities during SDLC.\nEnsure that automated tests are integrated and execute reliably in the CI/CD environments.\nWork as a member of an Agile SCRUM team delivering high-quality software in two-week sprints.\nIdentify, troubleshoot, and document issues thoroughly during bugs tracking.\nPerform functional and non-functional testing to support the development team.\nAbility to think out-side-box for reproducing, re-creating issues.\nAbility to act as stand-alone and define tasks to start QA efforts in an Agile team.\nDocument software issues and enhancement requests and assist development with concise and detailed steps for duplication of the defects found while performing manual functional, integration, and regression tests.\nProfile Requirements:\n4+ years of solid experience within Software Testing.\nStrong proficiency in Java.\nExperience with REST Assured framework for API automation testing.\nExperience with Postman for API testing.\nHands-on Git command line.\nStrong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, testing types, tools, and processes.\nStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with project tracking tools.\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.\nTravel and Tourism experience is a plus.\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.\nBeing you @ Almosafer:\nAt Almosafer, our teams work with purpose, clarity, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.
