agreements with strategic technology suppliers.\nRESPONSIBILITIES \nGeneral Responsibilities\nLead multiple sourcing initiatives and negotiations simultaneously.\nAnalyze spending, supplier performance, licensing utilization, and contractual obligations to identify value opportunities.\nDevelop executive-level presentations, recommendations, and business cases.\nManage contract lifecycle activities from sourcing and negotiation through implementation and renewal.\nConduct RFPs, supplier evaluations, and negotiation planning activities.\nDrive stakeholder alignment and decision-making across cross-functional teams.\nMaintain awareness of technology market trends, supplier developments, and emerging innovations.\nTechnology Procurement Strategy & Category Leadership\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies across technology categories including software, SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, AI platforms, professional services, and hardware.\nPartner with IT, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Data, Finance, and Legal teams to align sourcing activities with business and technology objectives.\nDrive cost optimization, value creation, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation through structured sourcing initiatives.\nLead competitive sourcing events including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and commercial assessments.\nContinuously assess technology marketplace trends, supplier capabilities, pricing benchmarks, and emerging technologies.\nTechnology Partnership & Architecture Alignment\nDevelop a working understanding of enterprise technology architecture, infrastructure environments, application ecosystems, cloud platforms, and data flows.\nPartner with Enterprise Architecture and technical stakeholders to evaluate how new solutions fit within the existing technology landscape.\nUnderstand application dependencies, system integrations, API requirements, data exchange patterns, and interoperability considerations when evaluating suppliers and solutions.\nSupport business cases and vendor selection decisions by balancing technical requirements, security considerations, commercial value, and business objectives.\nParticipate in technology roadmap discussions to proactively support upcoming initiatives and procurement needs.\n Contract Negotiation & Commercial Management\nLead complex contract negotiations for software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and professional services agreements.\nNegotiate commercial terms including pricing, licensing structures, service-level agreements (SLAs), support models, renewal rights, audit protections, usage commitments, and termination provisions.\nPartner with Legal and Information Security teams to negotiate data privacy, cybersecurity, compliance, intellectual property, and risk-related contract terms.\nManage enterprise-wide technology renewals and strategically plan sourcing activities to maximize leverage and value.\n AI Procurement & Emerging Technology Contracting\nLead negotiations for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics platforms.\nEvaluate and negotiate AI-specific contractual provisions related to:\nData ownership and usage rights\nModel training and retention rights\nIntellectual property ownership\nPrivacy and regulatory compliance\nData residency requirements\nSecurity controls and governance\nLiability and indemnification provisions\nResponsible AI standards and risk mitigation\nPartner with Legal, Security, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure appropriate safeguards are incorporated into AI-related agreements.\nMonitor evolving AI market trends and supplier offerings to support informed sourcing decisions.\nSupplier Performance & Vendor Management\nEstablish strategic supplier relationship management programs for key technology vendors.\nDevelop supplier segmentation, governance, and performance management frameworks.\nLead quarterly business reviews and executive supplier governance meetings.\nCreate and manage supplier scorecards that measure cost, service quality, innovation, delivery performance, risk, contract compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.\nPartner with suppliers to identify optimization opportunities, performance improvements, and innovation initiatives.\nServe as an escalation point for supplier performance issues and commercial disputes.\nProcess Optimization & Governance\nDrive adoption of best-in-class technology procurement practices and governance frameworks.\nImprove procurement efficiency, contract visibility, spend transparency, and supplier performance measurement.\nPartner with Finance, Legal, Information Security, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure effective controls and governance.\nSupport vendor risk management processes, cybersecurity assessments, and third-party due diligence efforts.\nCross-Functional Partnership & Strategic Influence\nServe as a trusted advisor to IT and business leaders on sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and commercial decision-making.\nInfluence stakeholders through structured, data-driven recommendations and transparent communication.\nBuild strong business cases that support technology investments, vendor Internally and with our supplier community\nLead by taking initiative, meeting people where they are, and bringing structure, speed, and results\nFoster a culture of partnership, learning, and continuous improvement\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n5+ years of experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or technology contract management.\nCurious, humble, and action-oriented mindset\nDemonstrated experience sourcing and negotiating software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, telecommunications, or technology services agreements.\nExperience managing strategic supplier relationships and supplier performance programs.\nStrong understanding of software licensing models, subscription agreements, cloud consumption models, and technology commercial structures.\nFamiliarity with enterprise technology architecture, application ecosystems, integration frameworks, APIs, cloud platforms, and application dependency mapping.\nExperience working directly with IT, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Engineering teams.\nStrong executive presence, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.\nProven ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred\nMBA or advanced degree.\nExperience negotiating AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, or advanced analytics agreements.\nExperience with cloud providers including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory compliance, and third-party risk management.\nCPSM, CPSD, PMP, ITIL, or similar professional certifications.\nExperience supporting digital transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise technology modernization initiatives.\nThe base salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees.
