In this role you will be the Sample Style Expert. Your keen attention to detail will allow you to guide others when samples are being used cross-functionally.\nRESPONSIBILITIES \nSAMPLES\nOrganize and manage all samples across multiple seasons, up to 8 seasons at one time (men’s, women’s, accessories)\nMaintain samples in merchandise room\nFacilitate samples being borrowed between departments and outside sales representatives/ check- out, check-in system.\nCoordinate dates to ensure samples are available for key meetings and shoots in advance of meeting date\nCommunicate to cross-functional teams the differences between SMS and production via change log\nCoordinate with technical design team to borrow proto or fit samples accordingly.\nSTYLE OUT - IN-LINE AND SPECIAL PROJECTS\nProvide samples in delivery order for styleout\nProvide ETA and status of late SMS\nMake callouts of spec / color updates from SMS to production.\nPrevent using styles that photo team will not be able to retouch\nAssist in creating outfits for lookbook - men’s, women’s and accessories\nTake notes as necessary and issue recaps\nOrganize samples daily\nEnsure style number, descriptions, color, and fit are accurate in the book\nLOOK BOOK SHOOT\nAssist in organizing/packing samples in shot list order for photoshoot as necessary\nAssist on site at photoshoot/Travel Required to make callouts on outfits and SMS\nReorganize samples daily depending on shotlist for the day\nEnsure models are dressed properly in a timely manner and are ready for shot\nCreate shotlist book (CAD work required)\nStudy the shot list and compare it to the book to ensure everything lines up\nBUSINESS ALIGNMENT/ MERCH/BUY AND SALES MEETINGS\nManage Sample handover from Product development to Merchandising\nOrder additional samples needed for efficient meetings and if/when logos change location\nCreate large CADS of missing samples\nAssist during presentation by hanging, disassembling samples and note taking\nCAD work Responsibilities:\nCreate CAD pages for multiple teams/teammates at a fast pace, and often under tight timelines\nCAD pages consist of, but not limited to: Category pages per season, Photo shoot look books\nCreate Alo Exclusive CADs\nManage Adds and Drops on existing CADS as they occur\nManage Seasonal binders\nCreate visual seasonal tools to help guide cross-functional teams\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEffective time management\nExcellent attention to detail\nOrganizing and operational skills\nTeam player\nProcess driven and ability to create process\nCommunicate effectively\nAbility to manage own time\nIllustrator CAD work required\nExcel\nThe hourly rate for this position is $25.00-$34.00. Please note that hourly rates will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base hourly rate may be outside of the upper end of the range.
