The Operations Lead will work closely with Operations & Visual Managers in initiating, delegating work, and providing feedback to the team to achieve optimal results supporting total store operations. Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not actively assisting guests, this position takes initiative to perform other tasks, as needed, to keep store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently. \nOperations Leader \nLead & execute inventory management processes effectively with a focus on maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink\nInvestigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager to escalate process or system gaps\nManage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management\nChampion strong visual standards for the sales floor\nSupport a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes \nBusiness Leader \nPartner with Operations & Visual Managers to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure maintained and maximized\nDemonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies\nMove dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team and guests \nPeople Leader \nLeads by example and inspires staff in daily operations and guest experience.\nDirectly oversee the Operations Associates; responsible for recruitment and development of talent\nUse company performance tools to evaluate each operations associate and provide constant feedback to drive individual growth and improvement in partnership with the store leader \nFlow Experience Leader \nCollaborate with Visual Lead to ensure cross-functional training, and Sales & Service Lead to ensure the business is well-executed\nExecute company-level operation-focused directives, projects and initiatives, in partnership with management team, to achieve goals & KPI’s\nOpens and closes the store in accordance with back of house (BOH) standards \nOPERATIONS LEAD QUALIFICATIONS\n2+ Years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment\nProven leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision making\nValues feedback, receptive to receiving feedback and eager to provide\nSelf-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team\nExcellent interpersonal and written communication skills\nAligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles\nRequires constant movement in and around all areas of store\nAbility to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds\nAbility to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder\nAbility to stand and move for an entire shift \nOPERATIONS LEAD SCHEDULE\nTo build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to be available for opening, closing and weekend shifts,which may be subject to change.
