This individual is passionate about inventory management, labor planning and scheduling - all with a lens on driving an efficient and effective store operation. This role’s north star is pointed at ensuring that the store is customer-ready at all times. \nOperations Leader \nOversee and support execution of key operational processes \nInvestigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the Manager to escalate process or system gaps\nChampion strong Operational standards for the salesfloor by leveraging business performance data\nSupport sell-through management by ensuring accuracy of inventory counts and coordinates labor hours to efficiently receive product deliveries\nSupport a safe work environment and efficient operation \nBusiness Leader \nRepresent the business in meetings and on conference calls, in partnership with General Manager\nReview, Monitor and partner with General Manager to manage the budget, reporting and other business data; including metrics (e.g. Expenses, Sell-Thru) and inform planning processes (e.g., quarterly business review and sales planning)\nFuture planning workflow business needs to protect optimal performance \nPeople Leader \nEnsure that the Operations team exudes ALO's mission and guiding principles to effectively communicate to our visitors who we are, what we do and why we do what we do\nLeads a team through accountability, continuous coaching on a regular basis, development of talent, and elevating effective communication throughout the Operations team\nEstablish internal & external pipeline through succession planning and recruitment strategy\nWrites an effective schedule that prioritizes the best business strategy, in partnership with the General Manager \nFlow Experience Leader \nOversees the execution of certain deliverables on the ALO Sales and Service Model, protecting operational efficiency\nCollaborates and implement General/Store Manager’s vision and work cross-functionally with business partners, as directed, to support all-level organizational goals\nDemonstrate an ability to navigate the organization with a balance of business need and brand culture \nOPERATIONS MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS\n3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience\nWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) \nExtraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written\nAgile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment\nIndependent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability \nAligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles\nRequires constant movement in and around all areas of store\nAbility to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds\nAbility to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder\nAbility to stand and move for an entire shift \nOPERATIONS MANAGER SCHEDULE\nThe Operations Manager role is a full-time role. To build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to be available for opening, closing and weekend shifts,which may be subject to change.
