This includes (but is not limited to)managing inventory and replenishment, overseeing the production process (including the intake of customer orders, and ensuring the timeliness and quality of order completion and delivery to customers. The Operations Supervisoralso ensures that departmental and support personnel are focused on continuous improvement and supports a lean culture of inventory, people, and processes. \nRESPONSIBILITIES: \nSupervise the day to day activities/mechanisms in accordance to the SOP’s, holding a team of associates accountable to standards of safety, quality, and productivity \nActively contribute to the development of CIA direct reports \nKeep safe and clean work environment. \nAchieve and maintain compliance with all company and federally mandated regulations regarding Safety, OSHA, HazMat and DOT \nResponsible for associate level of safety, quality, and productivity performance \nSolve and respond to daily issues \nPlan and coordinate shift activities for areas assigned within the fulfillment center to ensure adherence to all DC procedures \nAssist Manager in planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift directives to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality are met for all outbound related activities \nEnsure that all shift personnel receive proper training, skill development, and assessment per company guidelines \nRecommend and implement improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of employees for increased shift contribution \nImplement specific objectives and performance measures for all shift personnel to maximize productivity \nLead fulfillment special projects, as needed \nAccountable for achieving production objectives \nMonitor all production and personnel statistics and reporting in support of the department operation \nReinforce policy and procedure compliance \nParticipates in the Recruiting and Selection process \nConducts performance reviews and implements corrective action as appropriate \nImplementing performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions \nInteracts with peers and related staff across all departments on the implementation of fulfillment strategies \nQUALIFICATIONS: \nBachelor’s degree in in Engineering, logistics, Business, Operations or a related field or alternatively 2 years of demonstrated managerial experience leading teams \nPrior experience preferred working in Warehousing, 3PL, Distribution or Manufacturing environment but not required \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills \nProficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point \nBilingual English/Spanish desired but not required \nAbility to maintain a positive attitude while multi-tasking, managing, coaching and mentoring teams to be successful and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. \nStrong process improvement skills (ability to develop and implement processes.
