motivated and technically strong Accounting Senior Manager to lead our cryptocurrency accounting operations and support complex accounting matters across the organization.\nThis is a high-impact, hands-on role that combines ownership of the crypto accounting function with broader technical accounting responsibilities, audit leadership, and internal controls development.\nThe ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, navigating complex accounting and regulatory requirements, and partnering cross-functionally with business leaders, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and external auditors.\nThis individual will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of our accounting processes as the business grows and evolves.\nKey Responsibilities\nDigital Assets Accounting & Financial Reporting\nOwn the end-to-end accounting function for the company's crypto and tokenization-related activities, including month-end and quarter-end close processes, reconciliation review, journal entry reviews, and financial reporting.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and controls related to cryptocurrency transactions, digital assets, and associated business activities.\nPartner closely with crypto business leadership to understand new products, transaction flows, and business developments, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment and financial reporting.\nOversee accounting for crypto-related transactions, including digital asset holdings, transfers, fees, settlements, and other relevant activities.\nCoordinate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to support regulatory reporting requirements applicable to the crypto business.\nDrive process improvements, automation, and scalable accounting solutions to support growth in crypto transaction volumes and business complexity.\nServe as the primary accounting point of contact for crypto-related initiatives, providing proactive guidance on accounting implications and operational considerations.\nAudit Ownership & Regulatory Support\nLead and manage the external financial statement audit process for the crypto business, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.\nCoordinate audit planning, prepare supporting schedules and documentation, resolve accounting questions, and ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.\nPartner with internal stakeholders to address audit findings, strengthen accounting processes, and implement appropriate remediation measures.\nSupport regulatory examinations, inquiries, and reporting requirements related to the crypto business, in coordination with Legal and Compliance.\nMaintain audit-ready documentation and ensure accounting processes are supported by effective internal controls.\nTechnical Accounting & Complex Transactions\nServe as a key technical accounting resource across the broader organization, researching and evaluating complex or nonroutine transactions under US GAAP.\nPrepare technical accounting memoranda documenting accounting conclusions, relevant guidance, and financial statement implications.\nPartner with Finance and business leaders to evaluate the accounting impact of new products, strategic initiatives, contracts, and unique business arrangements.\nSupport accounting assessments for complex topics, which may include revenue recognition, equity transactions, investments, business combinations, digital assets, and other emerging accounting matters.\nMonitor evolving accounting standards and regulatory developments, assess their impact on the company, and support implementation of new requirements.\nCollaborate with external advisors and auditors to resolve technical accounting matters and ensure consistent application of accounting policies.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.\n8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in public accounting and/or a complex corporate accounting environment.\nStrong understanding of US GAAP, technical accounting research, and financial reporting requirements.\nExperience managing month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and coordinating external audits.\nExperience with cryptocurrency, digital assets, financial services, fintech, or similarly complex transaction environments.\nDemonstrated ability to independently research, analyze, and document complex accounting matters.\nExperience designing, implementing, or improving accounting processes and internal controls.\nStrong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple teams.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex accounting topics into clear, actionable guidance for non-accounting stakeholders.\nComfortable working both strategically and hands-on in a dynamic, high-growth environment.\nPreferred\nCPA with a combination of Big Four or national public accounting firm experience and industry experience.\nDirect experience with cryptocurrency accounting, including digital asset transactions, reconciliations, custody arrangements, and related reporting requirements.\nExperience supporting regulated financial services or crypto-related entities.\nExperience leading financial statement audits and working directly with external auditors on complex accounting matters.\nFamiliarity with SOC 1 and/or SOC 2 readiness, internal control frameworks, and audit evidence requirements.\nExperience implementing accounting automation, improving financial systems, or scaling accounting operations.\nExperience
