As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in strengthening and scaling our accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.\nOur Accounting & Finance team is fully remote and distributed. This role reports directly to the Assistant Controller and partners cross-functionally to support the company's continued growth and regulatory compliance.\nWhat You'll Do:\nPrepare and document journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies.\nOwn and help optimize the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and process automation initiatives.\nPrepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.\nSupport the development and enhancement of internal financial reporting and reporting distribution processes.\nAssist with the annual financial statement audit by preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor requests.\nCoordinate with the parent company on tax documentation and information requests.\nOperate in a multi-entity environment, being a key resource to adjacent teams within the organization\nAssist with weekly reserve computations and related reporting.\nDevelop, document, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.\nPerform ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed.\nQualifications (required):\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.\n5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within financial services.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.\nExceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and organization.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while working independently in a remote setting.\nAbility to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with a team-first mindset.\nDemonstrated ownership, initiative, and a willingness to take on new challenges.\nQualifications (preferred): \nCPA designation.\nExperience working for a broker-dealer, clearing firm, or
