Purpose

As a Solutions Architect you will be joining the software development team of Digital Platforms Domain of Alpha Bank IT Digital Services & Data Analytics Division. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient application solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross functional IT teams and stakeholders to define architecture, guide development teams, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

What you will be doing

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand their business objectives and technical requirements.
• Define and design comprehensive application architectures considering scalability, security, and performance.
• Create detailed technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and design documentation.
• Design end-to-end solutions that address complex business challenges and align with industry best practices.
• Understand the business and application requirements and define the solution requirements, ensuring they are consistent with the Bank’s IT strategy and practices.
• Lead and mentor development teams, providing guidance on architecture and best practices.
• Participate in Architecture Chapter and conduct architecture reviews and ensure the implementation adheres to the proposed design.
• Cooperate with the delivery teams in the implementation of the designed solution.
• Provide guidance and support to resolve complex technical issues and system failures if they occur.
• Assist in projects estimation and planning, providing technical input and helping the team set realistic goals and timelines.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms to support the solution.

What you need to have

• A Βachelor’s degree in computer science or in any other related field of study.
• A Μaster’s degree in computer science will be considered an asset.
• Proven experience as Solutions Architect in complex, enterprise-level environments.
• Proficiency in various programming languages and technologies. Experience with .NET and .NET technologies will be considered a strong asset.
• Strong experience in designing and developing enterprise applications using modern architectural patterns and best practices.
• Deep knowledge of SOA, Microservices Architecture and Design, REST Services development.
• Experience with API Management platforms, API Gateway design patterns, and integration and event-streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Experience with containerization and cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience with cloud-based, CI/CD or DevOps development environment.
• Strong development background building integration and application utilizing a variety of technologies, development tools and database systems.
• Experience or good knowledge of IT security.
• Experience or good knowledge of Agentic AI, AI-assisted workflows and enterprise AI integration patterns will be considered a plus.
