The role involves troubleshooting end-user devices, maintaining classroom technology and IT infrastructure, supporting Microsoft 365, and ensuring reliable day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a customer-focused approach, a valid UAE driving license, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure educational environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDeliver first and second line support for all end-user devices, classroom technology and peripherals at the assigned sites.\nPerform routine server room checks - environmental, UPS status, backup job verification, physical equipment health.\nCarry out basic Windows Server administration under central direction - service restarts, patch validation, print and file service checks, event log review.\nHandle joiners, movers and leavers device provisioning together with associated Active Directory account tasks.\nSupport examination sessions and computer lab readiness, including pre-examination device checks and standby cover during sessions.\nMaintain the local asset register, consumables stock and site documentation.\nProvide informal floor-walking support to teaching and administrative staff on Microsoft 365 and Teams.\nProvide first-line network support - patch panel work, switch port checks, access point replacement, Wi-Fi troubleshooting.\nLog, update and close all tickets accurately in the ITSM tool and escalate to L2/L3 with complete diagnostics.\nTechnical Skills Required:\nWindows 10/11 deployment, imaging and troubleshooting.\nWindows Server 2016/2019/2022 - basic administration, health checks, patch validation, physical rack work.\nActive Directory - account administration under delegated rights, basic GPO troubleshooting.\nMicrosoft 365 - Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint end-user support.\nBackup operations - job monitoring, media handling, restore requests.\nNetworking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN awareness, structured cabling, Wi-Fi troubleshooting.\nHardware break-fix on Dell, HP and Lenovo estates including printers and scanners.\nClassroom and lab technology - interactive panels, projectors, visualisers, classroom audio.\nITSM tooling proficiency.\nEducation & Certifications:\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.\nCompTIA A+ or Microsoft fundamentals certification preferred.\nITIL Foundation an advantage.\nPrior experience supporting education-sector IT estate is a strong plus.
