The ideal candidate will have strong experience with enterprise firewalls, routing and switching, VPN technologies, high-availability environments and large-scale migration projects.\nYou will play a key role in maintaining a secure, resilient and high-performing network environment while driving technology refresh and migration initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nNetwork & Firewall Security\nManage, configure and optimize enterprise firewall and security platforms across Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco FTD/ASA and Check Point.\nConfigure and manage Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN, including Gateway/Portal, Active Directory and SAML integrations.\nAdminister FortiGate Site-to-Site VPN, security policies, security profiles, NAT, routing, HA and firmware upgrades.\nManage Cisco FTD/ASA environments, including ACLs, access policies, IPS, DNS filtering, AMP, Security Intelligence and HA.\nManage Check Point perimeter and core firewall environments, including security policies and remote-access VPN.\nTroubleshoot complex network and security issues and drive issues through to resolution.\n\nRouting, Switching & Network Infrastructure\n\nManage enterprise Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching environments.\nWork with technologies including VLANs, STP, EtherChannel/Port Channel, StackWise, VPC, ACLs and Port Security.\nConfigure and optimize FortiGate WAN and SD-WAN environments, including interfaces, zones, policies and WAN links.\nPerform advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching, firewall and connectivity layers.\nSupport network resilience and high-availability design across critical infrastructure.\n\nMigration & Transformation\n\nLead or contribute to major network transformation initiatives, Example:Check Point → FortiGate migrations\nCisco ASA → Cisco FTD migrations\nNetwork and switch hardware refresh projects\nFirewall and network architecture enhancements\n\nDevelop migration strategies, implementation plans, rollback plans and execution procedures.\nCoordinate technical activities with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders to ensure controlled and low-risk changes.\n\nMonitoring & Operational Management\n\nManage network monitoring through SolarWinds, OpManager, Site24x7, PRTG, Zabbix, NewRelic, including node management, polling, alerts and device backups.\nMonitor network health, performance and availability and proactively identify potential issues.\nParticipate in incident resolution, problem management and infrastructure improvement initiatives.\nFollow structured Change Management, Incident Management and operational processes.\nCarry out Preventive Maintenance\n\nDocumentation & Governance\n\nCreate and maintain accurate network topology diagrams and architecture documentation.\nDevelop Change Requests (CRs), migration plans, rollback plans and SOPs.\nEnsure network and security configurations are properly documented and kept current.\nMaintain documentation required for operational continuity, audits and knowledge transfer.\nEssential Technical Experience\nStrong hands-on experience with multiple enterprise firewall platforms, preferably:Palo Alto Networks\nFortinet FortiGate\nCisco FTD / ASA\nCheck Point\n\nStrong experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching.\nPractical knowledge of:VLANs, STP, VPC, StackWise and EtherChannel\nACLs and network segmentation\nRouting and NAT\nVPN technologies\nHigh Availability\nSD-WAN\n\nHands-on experience with FortiGate SD-WAN and WAN configuration.\nExperience with SolarWinds or comparable enterprise NMS platforms.\nProven experience delivering firewall migrations, network refreshes and infrastructure transformation projects.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nGood understanding of structured Change Management and IT Service Management practices.\nStrong technical documentation and communication skills.\nEducation & Certifications (Preferred):\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.\nCCNP Enterprise / CCNP Security\nPalo Alto PCNSE\nFortinet NSE 4 / NSE 7\nEquivalent hands-on experience and expertise will also be considered.\n\nDriving License:\nValid UAE Driving License is mandatory.\nOwn vehicle is preferred, particularly for occasional travel to client sites or project locations.\nWillingness to travel within the UAE when
