At Alpha, we pride ourselves in being a meritocratic environment perfect for building a career and meeting great people, as well as a rewarding place to work.\nRole Responsibilities\nIn your role as a Solutions Consultant, you will:\nBuild data pipelines and applications to stream and process financial datasets.\nLead data modelling activities to capture and model data requirements, business rules, and logical and physical models to support reporting solutions and downstream processes\nDefine, build and publish reporting capabilities in leading BI/reporting tools, such as Tableau and Power BI.\nDesign, code, and tune ETL pipelines using Boomi, Talend, Informatica or similar technologies.\nData profiling and source-to-target mapping (including complex business rules)\nApply modern data management toolsets and methods to design, build, implement, and optimize data solutions of all types including data warehouses, data pipelines, data cleansing.\nDefine and socialise technical approaches for SDLC, data migration, integrations and reporting supported by a Solution Architect, the client and project management team.\nAnalyze, review and document business, functional, and technical requirements.\nDrive the documentation and development according to specifications and standards.\nParticipate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with internal and client peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries, reporting project status as required.\nSupport Alpha’s internal product/accelerator development for future client projects.\nMentor and coach junior team members.\nRole Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications)\n2-5 years of experience in data analysis & modelling, reporting, architecture roles, including experience with transformational efforts.\nExperience in the Asset & Wealth Management industry.\nExperience in data mining, profiling, and analysis.\nExperience with complex data modelling, ETL design (AWS Glue, Talend, Azure Data Factory), and using large databases in a business environment.\nExperience with deploying compute and orchestrating workloads directly in Azure or AWS, or platforms such as Databricks.\nKnowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Azure Synapse or AWS Redshift.\nExperience with object-oriented programming (OOP) languages like Python, Ruby, Java, or similar language preferred.\nUnderstanding of financial technology vendors and data elements similar to Bloomberg, Blackrock, Simcorp or Charles River.\nExperience with the following would as an advantage:Data handling with AI/ML: Python, R\nETL: Talend, Boomi, Databricks, Azure Data Factory\nLow Code platforms: MS PowerApps, Mendix, Outsystems\nCRM: Salesforce, MS Dynamics\nWorkflow: Unqork, Appian, Boomi Flow\n\nMarketing Automation: Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Eloqua\nCMS: Adobe Experience Manager, Optimizely, Kurtosys\nCompensation and Perks:\nThe anticipated base salary for this role varies based on geographic location and is structured across three compensation zones.
