planning, coordinating, and overseeing commercial electrical construction projects throughout the project lifecycle.\nPrepare, organize, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, transmittals, procurement logs, and other essential project documents.\nReview electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules to understand scope requirements and identify potential conflicts or issues.\nCoordinate project activities and information between field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, general contractors, and internal teams.\nTrack material orders, equipment deliveries, long-lead items, and procurement schedules to ensure materials arrive when needed.\nSupport project scheduling, budget monitoring, cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and financial reporting.\nParticipate in project meetings, site visits, and coordination sessions to review progress, address issues, and follow up on outstanding items.\nWork with estimating and BIM/VDC teams to support constructability reviews, design coordination, material planning, and installation activities.\nMaintain organized project files, meeting notes, correspondence, drawings, and tracking reports.\nAssist with material takeoffs, purchasing activities, commissioning, punch lists, and final project closeout.\nIdentify and report potential delays, budget concerns, procurement issues, and coordination challenges to project leadership.\nHelp ensure project work complies with contract documents, technical specifications, quality requirements, and jobsite safety standards.\nRequirements\nAt least 2 years of experience in commercial construction, project engineering, or electrical construction.\nExperience with a commercial electrical contractor or electrical subcontractor is preferred.\nBasic understanding of commercial electrical systems, installation practices, construction sequencing, and field operations.\nFamiliarity with construction documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement records, and project schedules.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, construction specifications, contracts, and project timelines.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software.\nStrong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks, competing priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.\nComfortable coordinating with field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, general contractors, and other project stakeholders.\nWillingness to travel to project sites throughout the Detroit metropolitan area.\nExperience with healthcare, higher education,
