The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all facilities, equipment, and support services to the highest standards, ensuring a safe, functional, and cost-effective environment for occupants and stakeholders.\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage facility operations efficiently.\nKey Responsibilities\n (A) Facility Operations & Maintenance\nOversee the day-to-day management of all facility operations and maintenance activities.\nDevelop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for building systems and infrastructure.\nEnsure the efficient operation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building services.\nConduct regular facility inspections and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.\nManage maintenance schedules and monitor service delivery standards.\n (B) Vendor & Contractor Management\nSupervise and evaluate contractors, vendors, and service providers.\nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.\nReview and approve contractor work and maintenance reports.\nNegotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance.\n (C) Health, Safety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nImplement and monitor workplace safety procedures and emergency response plans.\nConduct routine risk assessments and recommend corrective actions where necessary.\nMaintain statutory records and ensure timely renewals of permits and certifications.\n (D) Budget & Asset Management\nPrepare and manage facility maintenance budgets.\nMonitor operational expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.\nMaintain an accurate inventory of facility assets and equipment.\nDevelop asset replacement and lifecycle management plans.\n Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Estate Management, Facility Management, Building Technology, or a related discipline.\nRelevant professional certifications in Facility Management, Engineering, Health & Safety, or Project Management will be an added advantage.\nMinimum of 5 years' experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar facility management role.\nProven experience managing commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial facilities.\nDemonstrated ability to manage maintenance teams, contractors, and facility budgets.\nExperience working in remote or challenging operational environments will be an advantage.\n Skills and Competencies\nStrong knowledge of facility management principles and building systems.\nExcellent leadership and people management skills.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nEffective vendor and contractor management skills.\nGood financial and budget management capabilities.\nExcellent communication and report-writing skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and facility management
