Depending on the opportunity, responsibilities may focus on program operations, policy implementation, managed care, quality improvement, eligibility and enrollment, or organizational performance.\nWe welcome professionals with experience in state Medicaid agencies, health plans, healthcare organizations, government contractors, and related organizations. Applicants do not need to have held a director title if they bring comparable leadership experience.\nResponsibilities\nLead Medicaid programs, initiatives, or improvement projects.\nDevelop program plans, establish priorities, and oversee execution.\nManage multidisciplinary teams, partners, and subject matter experts.\nGuide policy implementation and operational improvements.\nMonitor program performance, budgets, risks, and deliverables.\nCoordinate with agency leaders, providers, health plans, and other stakeholders.\nTranslate program requirements and analytical findings into practical recommendations.\nDevelop reports, presentations, and implementation plans.\nSupport opportunity assessment and proposal development when relevant.\nRequirements\nSubstantial experience supporting U.S. Medicaid programs.\nExperience leading teams, programs, or complex initiatives.\nKnowledge of one or more Medicaid areas, such as managed care, eligibility, benefits, provider operations, quality, policy, or long-term services and supports.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to turn program objectives into measurable actions.\nPreferred Experience\nLeadership within a state Medicaid agency or Medicaid managed care organization.\nProgram implementation, transformation, or operational improvement.\nOversight of government contracts, vendors, or interagency initiatives.\nExperience presenting recommendations to senior executives or public-sector leaders.\nBenefits\nWe are recruiting for current and anticipated opportunities; immediate placement is not guaranteed.
