The ideal candidate will design, implement, and support secure, resilient network infrastructures across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud deployments.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign network pathways that can sustain operational network data spikes.\nImplement quality of service policies and bandwidth throttling to ensure uploads do not interfere with mission-critical applications.\nDesign Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) architecture to support high-speed data transmissions.\nEnsure the network architecture complies with governmental standards.\nMaintain end-to-end encryption for data in transit.\nManage firewalls, zero-trust network access, and Virtual Local Area Networks (VLAN) segmentation to ensure system traffic is isolated to prevent unauthorized access or malware spread.\nConfigure and maintain network switches.\nDesign and manage high-density Wi-Fi networks to ensure secure connections.\nManage and secure dedicated circuits and internet gateways routing traffic.\nUtilize network monitoring to track bandwidth utilization, port status, and overall network health.\nCollaborate with vendors and ISPs to troubleshoot complex routing issues, plan for system upgrades, and integrate new hardware.\nRequired Skills/Experience:\n10+ years of professional IT experience.\nJuniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist or equivalent professional networking certification; Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional preferred.\n5+ years of hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls in on-premises, virtualized, and cloud network environments.\nExperience supporting and securing edge/IoT network devices and enterprise networks.\nExperience with datacenter cross-connects and interconnects (e.g., carrier meets, cloud on-ramps, and data-center peering).\nPreferred Skills/Experience:\nExperience with Mist and/or Meraki networking solutions.\nExperience with cellular private networks.\nExperience designing or supporting Azure cloud networking solutions.\nExperience with hyperconverged networking.\nExperience with Azure Local deployments.\nStorage administration experience, including tape-based storage.\nExperience with identity management (e.g., directory services, authentication/authorization integration).\nExperience participating in or supporting incident response activities.\nSalary and Benefit Information:\nThe likely salary range for this position is $115,000- $135,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
