Come join us!\nAbout the Role:\nAs a Senior Engineer, QE, you own test strategy and coverage for your team's features and act as a strategic quality partner to the engineers who build them. You design test plans, build and evolve automation frameworks, and embed quality-by-design.You partner closely with developers, product managers, and platform teams to define test requirements, guide teams toward sustainable quality practices, and help us ship with confidence at velocity.\nYou will:\nDefine and execute test strategies across UI, API, and service layers to ensure comprehensive coverage.Develop and maintain reliable automation frameworks and performance testing suites.Utilize AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows to accelerate testing and debugging cycles.Lead risk assessments, release validations, and root-cause analyses for critical issues.Implement shift-left practices and enforce quality gates within development teams.\nDesired Skills:\n5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering roles\nDeep proficiency in testing TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend ecosystems (React, Webpack, or similar).\nExpert-level experience with Playwright or comparable browser automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium WebDriver) for end-to-end testing.\nStrong experience with unit and component testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, or React Testing Library.\nProven track record of designing and building test automation frameworks from scratch or significantly evolving existing ones at scale.\nSolid understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Buildkite, Gitlab or similar) and how to integrate and optimize test suites within them.\nHands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude for accelerating test authoring, code review, and debugging.\nHands-on experience with Allure or similar test reporting/analytics platforms.\nUnderstanding of AI/ML-powered products and the unique testing challenges they present (non-deterministic outputs, data quality, model evaluation).\nExperience in SaaS, fintech, or market intelligence domains.\nFamiliarity with performance and load testing tools (k6, Lighthouse, Artillery).\nFamiliarity with visual regression testing (Percy, Chromatic, Playwright visual comparisons).\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).\nAlphaSense is an equal-opportunity employer.
