Lead infrastructure projects from scoping and solution design through implementation, testing, documentation, and go-live.\n Infrastructure Design & Administration — Design, deploy, manage, and maintain on-premises Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and availability.\nVirtualization & Storage — Administer enterprise virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix, together with SAN/NAS storage solutions. Perform capacity planning and optimization to support business requirements.\nNetwork Administration — Support and administer network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs, working closely with relevant teams and vendors where required.\nOperations & Incident Management — Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations, monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, driving issues through to permanent resolution.\nSecurity & Hardening — Implement system hardening, patch management, access controls, and other security best practices to maintain a secure and resilient infrastructure environment.\nBackup & Disaster Recovery — Implement, monitor, maintain, and periodically test backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data protection and business continuity.\nCompliance & Validation — Manage infrastructure in accordance with applicable ISO standards, CIS benchmarks, and GxP requirements, ensuring appropriate controls and documentation are maintained.\nTechnical Documentation — Prepare and maintain SOPs, change records, validation documents, and infrastructure diagrams.\nTechnical Leadership & Mentoring — Guide and mentor junior IT System Engineers, reviewing their work, supporting their technical development, and acting as an escalation point for complex issues.\nInnovation & Continuous Improvement — Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, security, efficiency, and automation. Contribute to hybrid/cloud initiatives and infrastructure improvement projects in collaboration with other teams.\nRequirements:Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline\nAt least 3 years of hands-on experience in on-premises IT infrastructure operations\nStrong experience with:\nMicrosoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP\nLinux server administration (at least one major distribution)\nDesigning and architecting virtualization environments (VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Nutanix AHV)\nEnterprise storage (SAN/NAS)\nCore networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewall, VPN)\nProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues independently\nProven track record owning client relationships and leading project delivery end-to-end\nComfortable guiding or mentoring junior engineers\nFluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and clients\nAble to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams\nAdded Advantage:Immediate availability or short notice period\nNo visa or work pass sponsorship required, now or in the future\nExperience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment (e.g., pharma, MNC)\nISO27001\nMSSQL administration\nScripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, VBA)\nDevOps or infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD)\nCloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\nMonitoring and observability tools (ELK, TIG, or similar)\nProfessional certifications in:\nInfrastructure (VMware, Microsoft, Nutanix)\nNetworking (CCNA / CCNP)\nSecurity (CompTIA Security+)\nCloud platforms\nWorking Hours & Location:5-day workweek (Mondays - Thursdays 9:30 am – 6:30 pm;
