May work with other teams on this.\nResearching information for system requirements on upgrades and future release.\nGiving input on plans for future directions and platforms for system hardware to coincide with the long-term priorities, goals and needs of the organization. \nWorks closely with Application owners and users to evaluate and prioritize installation of new features and enhancements as needed. \nPrepares and executes testing and data validation of new development and enhancements.\nResponsible for maintenance and support of interfaces into other applications as necessary.\nThis position does not develop code.\nRegular and reliable attendance is required as an essential function of this position.\nOther Duties/Responsibilities:\nWorking closely with other team members, the entire IT department, multiple outside departments, Alpine employees, and software vendors. \nWorking outside of normal business hours for testing, upgrades, moves or system outages. \nWorking closely with vendors’ support personnel to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. \nWorking closely with training and location staff for application use. \nPrioritize and balancing multiple tasks.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nEmployees are held accountable for all duties of this job.\nJob Qualifications\nKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:\nSolid working knowledge of supported systems.\nDemonstrates critical thinking skills and has ability to make decisions at this level with minimum direct supervision. \nIs detail orientated, able to multi-task and able to prioritize tasks effectively.\nDemonstrates strong oral and written communication skills.\nKnowledgeable technologically; willing and able to learn administrative functions for various applications.\nUnderstanding and application of banking compliance regulations.\nMust exhibit strong teamwork ethics, a willingness to be active in department and bank functions, help with projects and exhibit a positive attitude.\nEducation or Formal Training:\nHigh School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent.\nCompTIA A+ or other industry certifications. \nPossession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Driver’s License is required. \nThe successful candidate will need to obtain the following internal training within 12 months of being hired:\nBasic understanding of banking regulations as they pertain to their supported systems.\nComplete Jack Henry university classes and/or certifications for supported systems.\nExperience:\nKnowledge and experience with Alpine’s existing banking software products preferred. \nWorking Conditions\nWorking Environment:\nThis job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Travel to conferences, meetings and branch locations on a regular basis may be necessary. Additional requirements include semi-annual disaster recovery testing and occasional application updates on weekends or evenings.
