This position performs oversight of information security operations.\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nOversees Security Information and Event Management Platform.\nOversees Data Loss Prevention Tools.\nOversees Endpoint Protection and User Monitoring Tools.\nMonitors day-to-day analysis for Information Security infractions and violations. \nProvides strategic direction and planning for information security.\nMonitors and stays up to date on current threat intelligence to anticipate breaches.\nManages, installs, and updates information security products.\nDevelops security standards and best practices. \nPlans and implements security measures to protect systems, networks, and data.\nLeads threat hunting exercises and activities. \nPerforms control validation through breach simulation tools.\nAnalyzes and blocks threats using a variety of tools and methods. \nMonitors and analyzes infrastructure systems (Active Directory, Azure, M365, Windows Servers, Applications, Data Security, and iSeries).\nPrepares current and useful documentation of systems and system changes.\nSecurity metric tracking and reporting.\nWorks closely with other Information Security Analyst, the IT department, multiple outside departments, Alpine employees and software vendors. \nWorks closely with vendors’ support personnel to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. \nWorks closely with all departments of the bank including Information Technology. \nRegular and reliable on-site attendance is required as an essential function of this position.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Duties\nFirst line supervisor for Information Security team.\nResponsible for hires, disciplinary actions, and training staff members. \nRecommends promotions, terminations, and salary adjustments to upper management.\nCoaches staff, prepares, and delivers performance evaluations, for direct reports.\nEmployees are held accountable for all duties of this job.\nJob Qualifications\nKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:\nAble to make decisions without constant supervision.\nStrong critical thinking skills.\nDetail oriented, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and able to multi-task.\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\nStrong teamwork ethics.\nWilling to be active in department and bank functions, and willing to help with projects.\nAbility to share expertise with others.\nAble and willing to work outside of normal schedule during upgrades or system outages.\nExcellent customer service skills and ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.\nEducation or Formal Training: \nBA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and experience.\nCybersecurity Analyst+ (CYSA+) is required. \nCertified Information Security Manager (CISM) preferred when hired or completed within 12 months of hire date.\nCISSP, OSCP, or SANs certificate preferred.\nPossession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Drivers’ License, required.\nExperience: \nAzure and Microsoft Security Experience required.\n6+ years of experience in the information technology or information security field, with 2+ years being in a supervisory role.\nAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.\nWorking Conditions\nWorking Environment:\nThis job operates in a professional office environment, that may have a hybrid schedule to include remote work and in office, but can be modified at any time, at management discretion. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and multifunction printers. Travel to conferences, meetings and branch locations on a regular basis may be necessary. Additional requirements include occasional application updates on weekends or evenings.\nPhysical Activities:\nThese are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nThis is largely a sedentary role.
