The Operations Associate II performs moderately complex administrative functions related to processing transactions and account management.\nEssential Duties/Responsibilities\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nProcesses and reconciles daily income.\nReviews, reconciles, and processes daily trade and money market settlements.\nProcesses daily distributions, deposits, and internal transfers.\nProcesses a variety of security and cash such as, but not limited to, Wires, ACH’s, checks, and other client related transactions, with minimal assistance.\nTrains staff on accounting functions.\nGathers and organizes daily operational work. \nReviews account opening documentation to ensure full on-boarding process.\nAssists with the research and resolution of issues.\nRegular and reliable on-site attendance is required as an essential function of this position.\nPerforms other duties as assigned. \nEmployees are held accountable for all duties of this job.\nJob Qualifications\nKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:\nAbility to perform tasks independently.\nProactive, analytical, and able to problem-solve and multi-task.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nProficient computer aptitude and research abilities.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research abilities.\nOrganized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and duties.\nOperate efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to adhere to confidentiality practices and guidelines.\nEducation or Formal Training:\nHigh School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) equivalent required.\nAt least 1 year of operations experience required.\nExperience:\nPrior banking experience preferred.\nPrevious work in customer service is preferred.\nAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.\nWorking Conditions\nWorking Environment:\nThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.\nPhysical Activities:\nThese are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required; it would require the ability to reach for and lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
