You will turn heterogeneous and imperfect sensor data into reliable tracks and actionable situational awareness.\nTasks\nDevelop and implement multi-sensor fusion and tracking algorithms\nIntegrate data from radar, cameras, passive RF, OSINT, and other sensors\nDevelop methods for sensor registration, calibration, synchronization, data association, and track fusion\nWork with real-world sensor data, including recording, replay, visualization, and analysis\nInvestigate sensor and tracking problems and identify their root causes\nDevelop tools and processes to evaluate and improve fusion performance\nIntegrate fusion components with the wider C-UAS system and downstream applications\nTake ownership of components from concept through implementation, integration, testing, and deployment\nRequirements\nEssential\nProfessional experience with C++\nPractical experience in sensor fusion, perception, tracking, or multi-sensor integration\nHands-on experience working with real sensor data\nExperience with multi-object tracking and methods such as Kalman filters, EKF/UKF, or related approaches\nPragmatic engineering mindset and ability to solve problems independently\nStrong sense of ownership and initiative\nAbility to work effectively across disciplines\nFluent in English; German is a plus\nValuable\nExperience with radar, EO/IR, passive RF, ADS-B, or OSINT\nExperience with track-to-track and measurement-level fusion\nExperience with geospatial data and coordinate transformations\nExperience with ROS2\nSkills for data analysis and visualization\nExperience with Linux, Docker, Git, and CI/CD\nExperience with autonomous systems, robotics, aerospace, defense, C-UAS, or other mission-critical systems\nExperience with simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and field testing\nWhat we are looking for\nYou like getting close to the actual data and the actual system.
