Backed by an international team, strong funding, and a bold vision, we’re looking for people who want to shape the next generation of aerial security and build something that truly matters.\nHow you will make an impact:\n Design and implement flight control laws (attitude, rate, position, and advanced control modes) \nModel aircraft dynamics including aerodynamics, propulsion, and actuator behavior \nMaximize flight performance through controller tuning and stability analysis \n Build high-fidelity simulations (SITL/HITL) and validate them against flight test data \nAnalyze real flight logs to identify instability, coupling effects, and performance limitations \nBridge simulation and reality by improving model accuracy and parameter identification \nCollaborate with navigation, perception, and hardware teams to ensure safe and predictable flight behavior \nContribute to flight test campaigns and iterate quickly from experimental results \nWhat you need to be successful:\nStrong background in flight mechanics, dynamics, and control theory \nExperience with classical and modern control methods (PID, LQR, MPC, observers, filtering) \nAbility to analyze stability and performance in nonlinear systems \nDegree (MSc/PhD preferred) in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Control Engineering, or related field \nExperience working with flight control firmware (PX4 / Ardupilot or similar) \nComfortable working with Python-based modeling tools \nPractical mindset - capable of turning theory into working controllers on real aircraft \nEnjoy debugging physical systems and validating them experimentally \nAt Alpine Eagle, we are committed to diversity and equal opportunity.
