Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions. \nCoordinate and support the implementation of new products, regulatory requirements, and market processes within the German Direct Marketing business. \nContribute to process improvements and operational scalability based on hands-on experience gained through daily operations.\nSupport portfolio reporting, KPI monitoring, and operational performance tracking. \nCoordinate complex customer cases and cross-functional initiatives involving internal and external stakeholders. \nContribute to knowledge sharing, process documentation, and the further development of operational capabilities within the team. \nIndependently manage complex operational cases and coordinate activities across multiple internal and external stakeholders until resolution. \nYour impact\nThe Operations Manager plays a key role in ensuring efficient, scalable, and high-quality operations across Alpiq's Direct Marketing business in Germany. By taking ownership of operational processes, ensuring reliable day-to-day execution, coordinating stakeholders, and driving continuous improvements, the role contributes to customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and the sustainable growth of the portfolio.\nYour profile\n2-5 years of relevant experience in energy markets, direct marketing, customer operations, contract management, or a comparable operational environment.\nGood understanding of the German energy market, particularly Direct Marketing and renewable energy market processes.\nStrong stakeholder and customer management skills with the ability to coordinate activities across different functions.\nHighly organised with strong time-management skills and a structured, process-oriented mindset.\nAbility to independently manage complex operational topics and drive them to completion.\nHands-on mentality with the willingness to take ownership of recurring operational activities while managing more complex operational topics and stakeholder interactions. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimisation and operational excellence.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.\nFluent German language skills. \nStrong English language skills. \nNice-to-have\nExperience with operational energy market processes such as customer onboarding, market communication, balancing groups, settlement, GoOs, or regulatory implementation.\nExperience with analytical and reporting tools such as Excel (VBA), Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar technologies.\nExperience coordinating operational projects, process implementations, or cross-functional initiatives. \nAffinity for automation, digitalisation, and continuous process
