This role is ideal for a Business Analyst who enjoys working across complex, multi-system environments and bridging the gap between business and technical teams.\nThe day to day\nGather and document business and functional requirements across procurement, finance, operations and IT teams.\nAnalyse current PR-to-PO processes and support the design of future-state solutions.\nFacilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and resolve issues.\nTranslate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and functional documentation.\nSupport integration requirements between the new application, ERP platforms and vendor systems.\nDocument business rules, data requirements, field mappings and exception scenarios.\nDevelop and maintain requirements, process, testing and project documentation.\nCreate and execute test scenarios and support functional, integration and UAT testing activities.\nCoordinate defect management, issue resolution and requirements traceability.\nPartner with stakeholders across multiple countries to support implementation and post-go-live activities.\nThe essentials\nExperience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst or similar role.\nStrong experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements.\nProven ability to map business processes and translate them into system requirements.\nHands-on experience developing and executing test scenarios, test scripts and UAT activities.\nExperience supporting system integrations and enterprise application projects.\nStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.\nExperience managing requirements traceability, defect resolution and testing outcomes.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organisational skills, attention to detail and documentation capability.\nAbility to work effectively with geographically dispersed and cross-functional teams.\nHighly regarded\nExperience with procurement, purchasing, PR, PO or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.\nExperience working within multi-ERP or ERP-agnostic environments.\nExperience supporting API, integration, EDI, middleware or B2B vendor integration projects.\nExperience working on custom application development projects.\nExperience supporting multi-country technology implementations.\nFamiliarity with Agile, hybrid Agile or structured SDLC methodologies.\nExperience with Azure DevOps, Visio, SharePoint, Excel or similar tools.\nWorking at ALS\nThe ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.\nOur values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence.\nAt ALS, you’ll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
