This is an opportunity for a hands on developer who enjoys solving problems, working with complex data and building practical solutions that connect databases, applications and business processes.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test and maintain Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers and other database objects.\nBuild and enhance database driven application functionality, business logic and data processing workflows.\nDevelop and maintain database integrations with internal applications, external systems and services, ensuring reliable and accurate data exchange.\nAnalyze queries and execution plans, identify bottlenecks, and improve the performance, scalability and maintainability of database solutions.\nInvestigate application and data related issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes and preventative improvements.\nImplement appropriate validation, error handling and transaction management to ensure data consistency and reliability.\nWork with developers, analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate solutions and deliver enhancements that meet business needs.\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, documentation, version control and release processes to maintain high quality, maintainable code.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\n3 to 5 or more years of professional experience in database development or a closely related software development role.\nOracle certification in SQL, PL/SQL or database development.\nStrong hands on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including the development and maintenance of complex queries, stored procedures, functions and packages.\nSolid understanding of relational databases, data modelling concepts, transactions, indexing and query optimization.\nExperience developing and maintaining application functionality that interacts with relational databases.\nExperience integrating databases with applications, APIs, services or other data systems.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective, maintainable solutions.\nFamiliarity with software development fundamentals, including source control, testing, debugging and technical documentation.\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nRequired Qualifications:\nScripting or automation using Python, PowerShell or similar languages.\nAutomated deployments, CI/CD pipelines or database change management.\nSupporting enterprise business applications or data intensive operational systems.\nOur benefits includes:\nAn estimated annual salary ranging from $90,000 - $110,000 at the time of posting.
