This leadership role is responsible for supporting a unified, efficient and scalable logistics framework to support sample collection, pickup, and transport activities across the Eastern Region.\nThe Regional Field Services Manager will lead the site-level teams of their regions Couriers, Field Techs, and Well Techs, ensuring consistent operational practices, optimized scheduling, compliance, and a strong focus on client service, safety, and continues improvement.\nThe role is essential in developing a connected field services network that reduces operational waste, aligns staffing and routes, ensures full utilization of resources, and strengthens the partnership between field operations, laboratory leadership and cross-functional support of each location.\nPrimary Objectives:\nLead, collaborate, and implement the region-wide logistics and field services strategy that improves efficiency, consistency, and quality.\nEnsure standardized scheduling, routing, and operational procedures are followed across all field service teams.\nWork with other Regional Field Service Managers to maintain a unified operating model that connects individual site teams into one coordinated regional service network.\nDrive service excellence, on-time sample pickup performance, and overall client satisfaction.\nDevelop the capabilities and performance of site-level Couriers, Field Techs, and Well Techs.\nSupport lifecycle management of fleet resources and field sampling equipment to support regional operational excellence.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nLeadership & Oversight\nProvide direct supervision, mentorship, and performance management for Couriers, Field Techs, and Well Techs across multiple ALS locations.\nBuild a collaborative, aligned team culture across all field service operations.\nSupport staffing decisions, workforce planning, and cross-site coverage strategies to meet regional needs.\nOperational Strategy & Standardization\nUse our standardized scheduling and routing model to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.\nEnsure region-wide SOPs are followed for sample pickups, positive client site interactions, equipment use, vehicle care, and safety.\nEnsure consistent execution of ALS Quality Procedures and regulatory requirements across the region.\nWork with other Regional Field Service Managers to ensure seamless movement of samples and create the most efficient routes created in the Eastern region.\nPerformance Management & Continuous Improvement\nEnsure regional KPIs for productivity, sample pickup turnaround times, holding times, route utilization, and cost-per-stop.\nAnalyze trends and operational data to identify opportunities for optimization and waste reduction.\nEnsure process improvement initiatives, including implementing new technologies or systems (scheduling platforms, routing software, etc.) are completed on time.\nClient & Cross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Laboratory Directors, Regional Field Service Managers, Client Services, and Sales to ensure field operations align with business needs and support customer commitments.\nFacilitate communication between field teams and laboratory operations to ensure seamless sample handoff and improved turnaround times.\nParticipate in client visits and operational reviews as required.\nSafety, Compliance & Quality\nOversee region-wide safety training, incident prevention, and adherence to regulatory and ALS safety standards.\nEnsure all field teams maintain proper documentation, chain-of-custody handling, equipment calibration, and vehicle compliance.\nSupport internal and external audits, corrective actions, and integration of quality improvements.\nResource, Equipment & Fleet Management\nOversee shared equipment and fleet optimization, ensuring sites maintain reliable vehicles and sampling tools.\nReduce equipment loss, damage, and operational waste through standardized processes and training.\nManage regional costs related to field services, labor, fleet, and equipment.\nOther Duties\nSupport regional projects, strategic initiatives, and cross-site operational integration.\nPerform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.\nRequired Qualifications:\nAssociate’s degree (AA) or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.\n5+ years of field services, logistics, or operations experience; laboratory or environmental industry experience strongly preferred.\n2+ years of supervisory or multi-site leadership experience.\nExperience scheduling, routing, logistics planning, or fleet management processes.\nWorking knowledge of laboratory quality systems and environmental regulatory requirements.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
