Ltd.\nReports To: Team Leader\nJob Purpose\nTo perform sample preparation, extraction, analysis, data processing, and documentation for pesticide residues, contaminants, and other trace-level analytes in food, feed, and environmental samples, ensuring compliance with ALS quality systems, ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform sample preparation, extraction, clean-up, and analysis of samples as per approved test methods and SOPs.\nOperate analytical instruments including LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, GC-MS, HPLC, and associated laboratory equipment.\nCarry out routine calibration, performance verification, and basic troubleshooting of instruments.\nReview chromatograms, QC data, and analytical results to ensure compliance with method acceptance criteria.\nMaintain accurate records of analytical work, calculations, worksheets, and laboratory documentation.\nEnsure adherence to laboratory quality requirements, ISO/IEC 17025 standards, and ALS procedures.\nMeet assigned sample throughput and turnaround time requirements.\nParticipate in method validation, verification, proficiency testing, and quality control programs.\nReport deviations, instrument breakdowns, out-of-specification results, and quality issues to the Team Leader.\nMaintain laboratory housekeeping, chemical inventory, and safety compliance.\nSupport investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and audit activities as required.\nFollow all laboratory safety, health, environmental, and compliance requirements.\nEducation & Qualification\nB.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related scientific discipline.\nExperience\n0-1 years of experience in a NABL/ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratory.\nFreshers with relevant academic projects or internship experience in chromatography techniques may also be considered.\nWorking at ALS\nThe ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.\nOur values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence.\nAt ALS, you’ll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
