ALS Environmental is looking for seasoned professionals to sell laboratory services for territories. The ideal candidate will have experience in, environmental sales, environmental consulting, an environmental regulatory agency, or laboratory with a solid knowledge of the environmental testing industry.\nAbout you:\nDevelop prospect clients in assigned territory; maintain an existing client portfolio.\nPerform all related sales functions to meet sales territory goals.\nDeliver presentations/seminars for clients.\nAbility to forecast and meet budgeted revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis.\nPrepare and provide quotations as requested by existing and potential clients.\nRepresent ALS Environmental at required trade shows and conferences.\nParticipate in client appreciation, industry and promotional events.\nMeet required reporting due dates, deadlines, and operate in an organized manner and be available to work outside normal business hours as needed.\nObserve established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications:\nCandidate must be professional in every aspect, self-motivated and flexible in working independently as well as with a team.\nEffective in consultative selling and relationship building with 100% commitment to success.\nPositive attitude, high energy, and dynamic with strong customer service skills.\nExperience with closing sales a must.\nExcellent verbal and written skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.\nPrevious experience working with CRM Software, Salesforce preferred.\nBBA in Marketing, BS in Science or related field, or equivalent preferred\nMinimum 1 - 5 years’ selling experience required (2-3 years selling in the Environmental Industry and/or technical/Laboratory field preferred);\nAbility to travel extensively.\nPhysical Demands:\nAble to speak and hear clearly while communicating with staff, management, and clients.\nAble to sit, and/or stand for 100% of an 8-hour day.\nDexterity in hands and fingers to operate computer and other equipment.\nMust have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate equipment.\nWorking at ALS:\nOur people are our most valuable asset and drive our success at ALS.
