Our global team turns up each day with passion and commitment to do amazing things, always challenging our thinking to find ways to solve some of the world’s most complex problems for a safer, healthier world.\nAbout the role:\nWe are seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician who will be responsible for various laboratory testing This individual will be responsible for following all safety and quality guidelines while maintaining a satisfactory production level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nAbout you:\nPerforming laboratory tests as outlined by the SOPs.\nPerforming all scheduled calibrations, standardization and SPC tests.\nRoutine maintenance of testing instrumentation.\nProperly completing all paperwork used to track tests and their validity.\nLoading data for tests performed.\nMaintaining a clean, safe work area.\nAccurately recording personal production and meeting production requirements.\nRouting samples for additional testing as outlined by SOPs.\nStoring and disposing of samples properly.\nComplying with local and corporate quality assurance policies, as well as ISO 17025 lab accreditation requirements.\nOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time, as required\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or laboratory experience preferred.\nWorking knowledge of good laboratory practice.\nComfortable in high paced production environment.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours while working. \nAble to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co-workers and managers.\nDexterity in hands and fingers to operate equipment and handle glassware.\nMust have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate equipment.\nWorking at ALS:\nOur people are our most valuable asset and drive our success at ALS.
