Report completion of the work.\nFollow written methods and procedures when carrying out work. When written instructions are not available follow oral instructions given by the Laboratory Manager or other Supervisor.\nCheck and maintain order of the samples being processed and samples identification. Report any deviations to the Laboratory Manager or other Supervisor.\nHandle the samples so as to preserve their identification and prevent their loss, contamination or confusion. Report any accidents to the Laboratory Manager or other Supervisor.\nMonitor quality of work being performed, make notes of any anomalies, e.g. reactive samples, boil overs and incomplete dissolution. Report to the Laboratory Manager or Supervisor if necessary.\nFill in appropriate forms and worksheets and sign/initial records.\nOperate equipment according to instructions/manuals and follow safety rules at all times. If applicable (e.g. balances, dispensers, dilutors) check calibration status of the equipment daily or before use. Report any anomalies/deviations in equipment performance to the Laboratory Manager or Supervisor. Do not use equipment that is out of order, misbehaving or giving suspicious results. Perform routine maintenance of the equipment (e.g. lubrication, changing/cleaning parts) as per equipment manuals/instructions. Keep equipment and workplace clean.
