The role involves driving process efficiency, maintaining strong controls, and supporting month-end closure activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nInvoice & Payment Processing\nverify and post GRN entries in ERP systems.\nReview and process PO and non-PO invoices ensuring complete documentation, approvals, and policy compliance.\nVerify, account, and process employee expense claims accurately.\nExecute vendor payments as per scheduled payment cycles and share payment advice with vendors.\nRecord payment entries and clear open invoices in ERP.\nCreate, maintain, and update Vendor Master data across branches in ERP.\nProcess employee and vendor advances in line with company policies.\nPerform vendor reconciliations, match ledger balances, and resolve discrepancies.\nManage vendor queries through timely acknowledgment, coordination, and resolution.\n Validate GRNs against Purchase Orders and resolve mismatches in coordination with Procurement.\nEnsure accurate GL coding and correct tax treatment (GST, TDS) for all transactions.\nBanking & Treasury Coordination\nPrepare and review bank reconciliation statement.\nCoordinate with banks for payment processing and banking operations.\nSupport cash flow planning, payment prioritization, and forecasting.\nMonth-End Closure & Reporting\nPrepare provisions, prepaid entries, and supporting schedules.\nGenerate monthly GL expense reports and perform AP ageing and variance analysis.\nCompliance & Audit\nMaintain proper documentation and audit trails for all AP transactions.\nProvide audit support through schedules and reconciliations.\nCoordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors to ensure compliance.\nProcess Improvement & Systems\nIdentify process gaps and implement automation to improve efficiency.\nTeam & Stakeholder Management\nCollaborate with Purchase, Operations, HR, Legal, and Finance teams.\nAct as the single point of contact for AP-related escalations.\nWorking at ALS\nThe ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.\nOur values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence.\nAt ALS, you’ll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
